Totally utterly safe activities at daycare

Today the kids got into jumping off the back retaining wall. Had to get some action shots.

This week

This week, we've read 10 in the bed and the book roll over by mordicai gordstein (one of my all time favorite books, and your kids love love love it!).  Today we laid out ten little people and they acted the stories out. Then they pretended to sleep.

Evan is finishing up breakfast and Kate brings the Wolf to his highchair (btw, everyone calls the Wolf a fox and proceeds to sing what does the fox say).  She sets it up on the high chair and says, "I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house in!"

Random, last few days!!

Well, look, surprise surprise, I fell off the Wagon and haven't posted in several days. I've taken pics,  well, some, but we've done ALOT!!!  We've read "it's raining hearts" and also now are working on "the 3 little pigs"  they are loving being the Wolf and blowing the blocks down (see the last few blurry pics by b!).  Still working on the pledge and now also exercising some. Okay, basically they are jumping wildly, but, hey, that works - right? ??  B has tried to teach them some ballet and they are working on first position. 

Monday, February 10

Today we read 10 Valentine Friends. We again practiced the pledge and all the kids know to stand and put their hands within their mid region. Some of them are doing very well with the words as well. We've been playing with these mini mailboxes as well. The kids counted the items on the card and put them in the correct mailbox. We also practiced recognizing our names!!  We are all ready to play outside though....
